DESCRIPTION

Awning Walls for the Supa Peg OUTBOUND Stand Easy ERV awnings are made for easy connection to the awning using kedder on the front aluminium extrusion and zipper connection on the sides of the awning.

All ERV walls are made from a heavy-duty Polyester material which is designed for a smaller pack up size and quick drying. With eyelets on the base you can even erect it with poles to extend your shade.

As we make many different styles and sizes of awnings, please pay close attention to the drawing guide to ensure you choose the correct style and size of awning you have before proceeding to choosing your wall

Awning walls are a great addon for your awning providing protection from the wind, rain, cold, heat and harmful UV rays, when choosing your wall type consider what is the main aim of your wall?

Is it to be used as a wind break?

protection from rain?

Shelter from the sun while still allowing air flow?

Extending your awning for more roof space?

What is the main area you will need this type of cover?

PRODUCT FEATURES

Material types and their advantages

Canvas –

  • We use an 8oz tear stop Australian made canvas for all of our canvas walls, it is the same material that is used on our awnings. This canvas is a Dyna proof material which has been soak treated (not coated) this treatment style embeds all of the coating through all of the loom, giving a long lasting Rot and Mildew and water proof properties
  • Hard Wearing and extremely long lasting (5 years +)
  • Great protection from the rain, sun, light and wind
  • Easy to be add to or repaired if required

Breeze Mesh-

  • The material used for the mesh is a large weave giving plenty of air flow while still providing great shade coverage, this material is a heavy duty material that can take what ever you can throw at it (unlike cheap mesh material that tear easily)
  • Hard Wearing and extremely long lasting (5 years +)
  • Will give partial protection from Wind, Rain and Light while still giving good sun protection

Types of Connection and their advantages (the connections available will depend on the awning style you have)

Velcro –

  • 50mm Velcro is used for maximum holding power
  • Adjustable and forgiving for uneven surfaces
  • Different size walls can still be used with this style of fixing as they can be put just about anywhere on the velcro

Keddar-

  • Keddar is a rubber spline material that slides into awning sail track, this system is extremely strong and quick to setup up
  • The extra available strength by using the keddar onto the awning extrusions can easily allow walls to be pitched out as an additional roof span giving more flexibility and coverage for these walls

Wall styles

Straight –

  • Generally put up vertically straight and are supplied with bungy ball cords to allow to be pitched slightly out and to allow for uneven surfaces
  • Are easy to join to others walls to make more of a closed in room

Straight Angled

  • These are pitched out on more of an angle to allow for more room under the awning (great for swags and eskys)
  • This style is pegged directly to the ground and can have the pitch varied depending on awning heights

Tapered and Angled

  • These are pitched out on more of an angle to allow for more room under the awning (great for swags and eskys) but are also tapered to allow them to join to another tapered wall
  • Are able to be joined to another tapered wall to enclose the awning giving a large living area
  • This style is pegged directly to the ground and can have the pitch varied depending on awning heights
